Speed Reducer

Rino mechanical has continuous use Speed Reducers and gear boxes of all types. Built from solid steel or aluminum block and precision bearings. We have speed reducers designed for internal system use or for use as motor speed reduction units directly mounted to the motor. Many can be easily customized for your needs.

Right angle speed reducers come with ratios up to 120:1. Special ratios are also available on many boxes. Very low backlash is optional on many types. Output torques at 2000 RPM are available up to 70 Nm. for system use and up to 164 Nm. for motor mount types.

Crossed Axis gearboxes with ratios up to 40:1 and Worm wheel gear boxes with ratios to 120:1 give continuous use operation. Crossed axis gear boxes can be supplied for food and pharmaceutical applications using Delrin housings and 440C bearings.

A full range of continuous use flexible couplings including Oldhams, Beams and Bellows are available to meet any application. Coupling OD’s from Ľ". All come with 24 month guarantees.

Precision shoulder screws, standard and custom, are manufactured with tight diameter and length tolerances. Standards are available from stock in 303 or 416 stainless. Customs in 316 and virtually any material and size can be produced quickly. All continuous use precision shoulder screws come with our 24 month guarantee.

Precision spur gears, timing pulleys, precision dowel pins and other mechanical parts are all designed for continuous use operation. Standards and customs with quick delivery are standard.

Worm & Wheel Double Gearboxes

P & PF Type Gearboxes

Our slim fit worm and wheel reduction gearbox range is available in 7 different sizes with ratios of 5:1 to 120:1.

Special minimum backlash gearboxes with 8' of arc are also available.

P Type gearboxes have input shaft & output bore.

Uncompressed: P20 | P30 | P40 | P45 | P55 | P60 | P70

PF Type gearboxes have input blind bore & output bore.
Output torque ranges from 2.1 to 83 Nm (at 1000 Rpm input). The tapped holes on the input flange are not relative in position to the gearbox body as they will alter from box to box. However, we can machine the tapped holes after assembly so they are relative in position to the gearbox body. This will affect delivery lead times.

Shafts to fit the P Type gearboxes are either single or double sided & are stocked for immediate delivery.

Within the P Type gearbox range, there is now available to order a silent gearbox that is fitted with delrin output wheels. These are the same price as the standard gearbox range - just add DL to the Part Number. However, the minimum backlash version is not available. The torque rating is 25% off the standard version and the maximum input speed is 2000 Rpm.
