  Silver tipped screws: These silver solder tipped screws allow for fine adjustment and spreading over the contacting surface. This prevents marking or deformity of the surface of the shaft or surface they are contacting. When removed the contacted surface is left unmarked.
Can be reused over and over again.
   
  Nylon tipped screws: These screws will not mar or damage the shaft or surface they contact. The nylon conforms to the surface of the shaft. Extra holding power is developed by full face contact over regular set screws. Can be used over and over again.
   
  Brass tipped screws: These screws will not mar or damage the surface they contact. The brass conforms to the surface of the shaft. Extra holding power is developed by full face contact over regular set screws. Can be used over and over again.
